Responsibilities
Proofread programming schedule in online registration system and in program guide
Interview and hire new staff members
Train new staff members to provide quality instruction and connecting with children
Mentor staff members, evaluate growth, and provide feedback
Coordinate staff schedule of activities
Supervise programming
Track staff work time and send documentation to temp agency
Provide a safe environment for staff and families
Build rapport with families
Manage questions and concerns from families
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in education, recreation management, or related field and/or experience in recreation, education, or childcare setting
Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
Ability to work the full duration of the summer season (weekdays June 8th - July 31st)
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, carry 40 lbs., and work in various weather conditions
