Payroll Manager and HR Analyst
Miami Jewish Health is one of the largest providers of healthcare and living options for aging adults in the Southeast. This role is responsible for overseeing the payroll function and analyzing HR data to support decision-making processes within the organization.

Responsibilities
Directs the operational management of the biweekly payroll function
Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
Processes payroll in accordance with established procedures, resolving problems as they arise and responding to employee questions and issues
Directs and monitors the accuracy of the State and Federal payroll reports. Ensures that all State and Federal payroll reports are submitted within the established deadlines
Prepares and distributes W-2’s in accordance with Federal deadlines
Assists with the yearly ACA reporting in accordance with Federal deadlines
Provides direction for developmental changes of the payroll system, serving as a liaison between the software company and MJH. Makes recommendations regarding system changes and upgrades
Collects, compiles, and analyzes HR data from a variety of sources including HRIS, payroll outputs and surveys to make relevant recommendations
Works collaboratively with HR leadership to ensure that the right metrics, dashboards, and analysis is provided to drive companywide data-based decision-making
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors for the 403(b) 5500 filing and annual employer match
Review, audit, and verify I-9 forms for all new hires to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Ensure that all required documentation is properly filed and updated, as necessary
Manage employee file room and auditing employee records for accuracy ensuring compliance with legal requirements and support effective human resource management
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
Five years progressing payroll experience of which two must be supervisory in nature
Ability to perform duties and responsibilities promptly and consistently with minimum direct supervision
This position produces Executive level deliverables and therefore requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Provides information that supports strategic decision
Ensures that resident's/patient's rights are adhered to

Knowledge of UKG Dimensions Software preferred
Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
