Responsibilities
Responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of nutritional care for individuals residing at Selinsgrove Center
Participating in performance improvement programs and initiatives
Completing new and annual nutritional assessments
Making recommendations to the physician regarding nutritional care and interventions
Collecting information from charts, medical records, dietary records, and by talking with residents, medical staff, and living area staff
Using the computerized nutritional management system to ensure residents receive meals consistent with their prescribed diet
Completing data entry for the selective menu program
Assisting in menu planning for special events and meals
Attending a variety of team meetings and serving on the Dysphagia Committee
Qualification
Required
You must have certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance
