Responsibilities
Design, implement, and administer SAS Enterprise BI & SAS Viya platforms
Coordinate with server, storage, networking, and security teams
Deploy and support SAS across Dev, Test, and Production environments
Perform user provisioning, monitoring, capacity management & troubleshooting
Create AIX scripts , automated jobs, and perform server patching & maintenance
Monitor performance, tune systems, eliminate single points of failure
Support SAS users, troubleshoot code/performance issues, and train backup admins
Integrate SAS with Oracle, MS SQL, Hadoop, Impala, network shares
Work with SAS Institute on upgrades, fixes, and enhancements
Maintain compliance with ODM governance, security, and audit standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years SAS Enterprise BI Server Administration
2+ years SAS Viya Administration (Architect capacity)
8+ years installing SAS BI from scratch on multi-tier platforms
4+ years AIX scripting, server provisioning, patching & maintenance
Strong experience with security policies, user provisioning, folder structures
BS/BA (Computer Science or related) or equivalent experience
Preferred
Medicaid / Healthcare systems experience
SQL (Oracle & MS SQL), Windows & AIX/Linux
Networking fundamentals (firewalls, routing, performance bottlenecks)
LDAP / Active Directory / SAS AUTH provisioning
