Mid LevelHMP Properties, LLC is seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to support revenue growth for multiple hotels within the Northern Virginia market. This role is key in generating new business, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring a seamless sales process.

Responsibilities
Build and grow a strong client base through proactive new business development and ongoing account management in the SMERF/Corporate/Government segments
Create and implement strategic sales action plans to achieve revenue goals
Conduct hotel site tours, outside sales calls, and attend networking events to expand market presence
Manage group inquiries and bookings for corporate, social, and special events
Maintain accurate sales data, forecasting, and reporting to leadership
Oversee pricing strategies, group parameters, and rate negotiations
Represent properties at trade shows, industry functions, and professional training sessions
Provide ongoing recommendations to enhance team performance and improve sales outcomes
Qualification
Required
Hospitality sales experience strongly preferred, particularly within select-service brands
Proven success managing sales across multiple hotel properties
Familiarity with PMS and CRM systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard sales technology tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
Preferred
Strong knowledge of the Northern Virginia hospitality market is highly preferred
