Oracle Developer
Seneca Resources is a trusted staffing and consulting firm, and they are seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join a high-impact team supporting critical mission systems. In this role, you will design robust database solutions and optimize Oracle/WebLogic applications while collaborating with cross-functional experts.

Responsibilities
Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet evolving organizational requirements
Configure Oracle/WebLogic applications to support documented business processes; provide technical designs, module testing, and direction to peer developers
Develop, debug, and maintain PL/SQL components including functions, procedures, packages, and triggers
Write and optimize SQL across DDL, DQL (simple/aggregated/correlated subqueries), DML, and DCL operations
Create, execute, and document comprehensive tests to validate functionality, performance, and compliance with specifications
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues; document findings to support project success
Research solutions for maintenance and development needs; interact effectively with database administrators, security teams, and end users
Qualification
Required
Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and verifiable prior to start)
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c-19c
Proven expertise with Oracle WebLogic Server 12c (configuration, deployment, and administration)
Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL development and debugging (functions, procedures, packages, triggers)
Deep knowledge of SQL commands and best practices: DDL (CREATE, ALTER, DROP, TRUNCATE, etc.), DQL (simple SELECT, aggregated queries, correlated subqueries), DML and DCL (GRANT, REVOKE, etc.)
Familiarity with tools such as SQL•Plus, SQL Developer, Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Fortify, Microsoft Excel, and deployment/repository workflows
Experience in database design (conceptual/logical/physical modeling) and application configuration in enterprise environments
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a team-oriented, cleared setting
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred; equivalent experience considered)
