Responsibilities
Coordinate and launch cross-functional working groups focused on data platforms, metadata management, and data storage initiatives
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, objectives, and deliverables based on technical and functional inputs
Track risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams to support on-time milestone delivery
Schedule, facilitate, and document meetings, ensuring action items are clearly assigned and followed through
Establish and manage communication structures to provide consistent status updates and maintain alignment across teams
Qualification
Required
Professional experience managing projects within life sciences data management, bioinformatics, or data strategy environments
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to understand bioinformatics and data management terminology and translate requirements into actionable plans
Hands-on experience using project documentation and collaboration tools
Three to five years of relevant project management experience
Preferred
Proficiency with Smartsheet and Confluence
Experience supporting platform integration initiatives
Familiarity with Code Ocean or similar bioinformatics platforms
