Responsibilities
Collect, maintain, format, compile, and analyze technical data such as laboratory results, material testing data, and engineering changes
Prepare engineering documentation, reports, summaries, and drawings (e.g., flow charts, block diagrams, schematics)
Perform routine technical tasks and provide hands-on technical support to engineers
Assist in scoping equipment for use and support equipment qualification activities
Support general laboratory operations, including equipment calibration, routine maintenance, and implementation of safety procedures
Develop and support prototype processes, test setups, and experimental fixtures
Execute test protocols and conduct laboratory testing per written procedures
Accurately document, analyze, and communicate test results
Handle test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing in accordance with safety guidelines
Communicate potential project risks or issues to the manager or team lead
Assist with training and mentoring junior or lower-level technicians as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent with significant hands-on experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or regulated environment
Minimum 8 years of experience in a lab, technical, or regulated environment following written procedures and working collaboratively with teams
Ability to understand and follow detailed test procedures and safety protocols
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Basic proficiency with computers and common software tools
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline
2–4 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D environment
Experience supporting product development or engineering testing activities
Ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions to routine technical problems
Experience training or mentoring junior technicians
