Responsibilities
Performs installation, startup, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and servicing HVAC equipment commonly found in a wastewater treatment plant
Responsible for the installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that carry water, steam, chemicals, compressed air, liquid gases, or fuel used in a wastewater treatment plant
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or GED
Valid Driver's License
CFC (EPA 608) certification
Boom and Scissor lift certification
Knowledge of HVAC Maintenance and Installation
Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Knowledge of general office processes and procedures
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Knowledge of safety practices in an industrial environment
Knowledge of electronic theory, circuits, components, and material properties
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Outlook, Word, Excel
Skilled at basic HVAC maintenance and repair
Skilled at Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Skilled at Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Ability to follow policies and procedures
Ability to perform work in extreme environments with varying weather conditions
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
Ability to source needed parts for HVAC equipment
Ability to operate lifting equipment such as boom and scissor lifts
Ability to work on-call shifts as needed
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to identify problems, craft effective solutions, demonstrate good judgement
Ability to assist in the training and development of HVAC technicians
