5+ years expeTeam is seeking a Product Designer - Specialized 3 for a contract role. The primary responsibility includes leading and developing seasonal design concepts for apparel while collaborating with a team of innovation designers and product managers to deliver exceptional products.

Responsibilities
Designing a range of performance apparel product type including base layer to outerwear, men’s and women’s, mocking up samples, creating presentations/story telling, reviewing prototypes and revisions in preparation for a seasonal product launch
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience minimum within a product design role; HM would prefer more, and will prioritize candidates who have more than 5 years relevant experience
Apparel construction; must have knowledge of how garments get put together
CLO experience
Adobe Illustrator
Ability to bring projects to life and show a concept effectively
Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
5+ years of relevant work experience in the apparel sport industry
Demonstrated passion and understanding of trend and visual culture
Knowledge of product creation and graphic application for performance apparel
Expert communication and presentation skills using a variety of formats
Ability to seek out opportunities to elevate apparel though craft and construction
Proficient in Adobe CC and comfortable working within new digital spaces such as CLO and Vizcom
A collaborative mindset to work with other designers and teams while having the ability to work efficiently and autonomously when necessary
Preferred
Degree preferred, not required
Adobe Illustrator/CLO 3D certifications nice to have, not a hard requirement
Experience designing technical, functional apparel (as opposed to streetwear/style)
Prior client experience (or experience with a similar brand)
Someone who is ready to start work ASAP and hit the ground running
Presentation & storytelling skills; professionalism
