Responsibilities
Position accountable for overseeing duties involving abstract of title, appraisal, appraisal review, environmental issues, utilities, and communication
Responsibilities would include oversight of the disposal of surplus right of way properties
These duties include, but are not limited to: Knowledge of reading and analyzing ROW maps; Researching acquisition information; Collaborating with internal Right of Way sections, mainly Title, Appraisal, Accounting and District Coordinators; Collaborating with external MDOT District Offices, Legal Division and the Roadway Design Division; Reporting information to the MDOT Asset Management and Financial Management Divisions; Communication with any and all public inquiries concerning the sale of the surplus right of way properties
Qualification
Required
Understanding of right of way disciplines
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3-4+ years of experience
Preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 10 years right of way experience
