Responsibilities
Undertake the brand definition and global strategy, lead the brand design planning, define the next-generation design style, and formulate the cross-category family design language VBL
Establish local user insight capabilities, focus on the needs of North American users and industry trends, deliver innovative concepts, and enhance the differentiated competitiveness of products
Lead the Design-Driven Innovation projects, and explore the integrated design of cleaning products and smart home ecosystems
Build and lead the BDC Industrial Design Team, optimize the design process, and ensure efficient cross-departmental and cross-border collaboration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Design, Product Design or related majors
More than 10 years of industrial design experience
Over 5 years of team management experience
Background in smart hardware/home appliances
Successfully led the full-process design cases of mass-produced products (especially cleaning smart products)
Possess comprehensive professional knowledge
Proficient in formulating brand design strategies
Familiar with CMF (Color, Material, Finish) and mold processes related to home appliances
Strong user insight
Able to guide the team to optimize the UI/UX of products
Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
English as the working language
Preferred
Graduates from renowned design schools
Candidates with international design awards such as iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, IDEA
Experience in industrial design for smart hardware, home appliances, and complex 3C products in the North American market
Industrial design experience in robotic vacuums
Target Companies: Brands such as SEB, Bissell, Hoover, Neato Robotics, TTI Floor Care, etc
Shark Ninja as the top priority
North American design centers of South Korean home appliance and 3C enterprises
