Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel
Assist customers, employees, and visitors with directions and general inquiries within the retail environment
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when required
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as directed by Allied Universal policies and site requirements
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
