Responsibilities
Handles duties related to vehicle registration by registering and transferring titles for motor vehicles
Collecting State and County taxes and fees
Handling applications for renewals, disabled placards, replacement plates, and specialized plates
Maintaining records, reports and files
Sorting and processing mail
Performs related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes
Ability to pass a typing test at the rate of at least 35 words a minute
Level of education equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency
No experience necessary
Possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
