Outside Sales Representative
Verto People is a well-established industrial manufacturer specializing in filtration systems, pumps, pipes, valves, and fittings. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage and expand their customer base in Orange County, California, focusing on account management and business development.
Responsibilities
Managing the Orange County territory, covering contractors, OEMs, resellers, and end users
Full ownership of existing accounts and business development efforts
Working with Pumps, Filtration, Valves, fluid handling and fluid power equipment
Work closely with internal teams (sales, engineering, applications) to ensure business growth
Ability to travel efficiently within the territory and manage large accounts
Qualification
Required
At least 3-4 years of outside sales experience in an industrial sales environment
Experience in business development or territory management is a plus
Understanding of pipes, valves, fittings, filtration systems, and pumps or a willingness to learn about these technical products
Strong background in account management and the ability to develop new business
Must reside in or near Orange County, CA, or be willing to relocate to the area
Strong relationship-building skills with customers, clients, and internal teams
Ability to communicate effectively in a consultative sales environment
Preferred
Preferably from a background in filtration systems, pumps, or related mechanical products, but we are open to candidates from different industrial backgrounds
Open to candidates who are willing to learn new product lines and technologies, with a strong desire to grow within the company
