They are seeking a part-time Data Manager for the Gippsland Radiation Oncology department to maintain patient databases and assist in research projects.

Involved in the maintenance of departmental databases for all patients attending the department
Assisting in related research projects
Qualification
Required
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Science, Health Information Management or a related paramedical discipline
Skilled in hospital based or similar computer systems
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organisational and workload management skills and proven attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain databases and data collection systems
Ability to analyse and interpret data collected
Preferred
Previous experience in data management or clinical trials is desirable
Qualifications in health information management, science or allied health professions are desirable
Previous experience in a health care and/or medical research environment would be highly regarded
Previous oncology experience would be an advantage
