Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Monitor access points, check credentials, and help to maintain authorized entry to restricted areas in an aerospace and defense environment
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards according to Allied Universal and client protocols
Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with first responders as required
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors within the location
Qualification
Required
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
