Income Maintenance Supervisor II - Family & Children's Medicaid

NEOGOV is looking for an Income Maintenance Supervisor II to oversee the Family and Children’s Medicaid Program for Nash County. The role involves providing administrative and technical supervision to a team of Income Maintenance Caseworkers and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and county guidelines.

Responsibilities

Supervises unit of 16 Income Maintenance Caseworkers
Administers the Family and Children’s Medicaid Program for Nash County according to federal, state and county guidelines
Provides administrative, technical and supportive supervision to Income Maintenance Caseworkers
Ensures accuracy of eligibility and continued updating policy, records, job aids and NC Fast System
Responsible for interpreting and understanding policy and regulations for various Medicaid programs
Conducts outreach for Family and Children’s Medicaid, including informational meetings
Makes final decisions regarding Family and Children’s Medicaid cases
Reviews cases for potential fraud and refers them to the Fraud Investigator if necessary
Responsible for training all staff in Family and Children’s Medicaid policy and NC Fast System
Monitors time reports and approves leave for the unit
Gathers statistical data regarding production and individual job performance for budget recommendations

Required

FCMA and NC Fast experience required
Strong computer, organizational, work ethics and time management skills required
Three years of experience as a caseworker or investigator in an Income Maintenance program, preferably with one year of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
This position must maintain a valid North Carolina Driver's License and maintain suitable insurance coverage on a safe and reliable automobile
