Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols within the manufacturing and industrial location and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity
Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal at all times
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred
