They are seeking a Facilities Policy Writer to assist the Office of Facilities, Information and Asset Management with updating DOT Policy Orders, requiring strong writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
Coordinate working sessions with Program Offices
Consolidate comments for inclusion
Update and Finalize Outdated Facility Policies
Creating timelines and project plans
Must create weekly and monthly reports
Must be mid-level Microsoft Office user in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Schedule team meetings using Microsoft Teams
Prepare Draft and Final version Policy Documents
Qualification
Required
Must have good writing and analytical skills
Must be able to communicate well in person and through electronic resources
Must be able to interpret current policy, standard operating procedures, and external regulations to write new policy
Must have experience with utilizing Microsoft Teams to host presentations
Must have great command of the English language
Must have experience with writing policy or standard operating procedures
Must have skill with managing a project plan and building timelines to meet target dates
Microsoft Office skills; especially Excel and PowerPoint
Must be flexible with worksite. Teleworking maybe required periodically
