Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location to the appropriate personnel
Work closely with property management and/or building staff to support a secure environment and uphold site procedures
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, checking credentials, and verifying authorization for visitors and contractors as required
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
It is preferred that you are able to lift up to 20 pounds
Alarm panel experience is preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
It is preferred that you are comfortable using a computer or tablet
