Responsibilities
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Prepare and reconcile monthly account balances to maintain financial accuracy
Create and record journal entries as part of the month-end closing procedures
Manage intercompany transactions, including sales, payables, and receivables, ensuring proper reconciliation and elimination at the end of each reporting period
Handle treasury functions such as processing wire transfers, issuing checks, cash forecasting, and daily cash reporting
Assist in updating and maintaining documentation for accounting processes and procedures
Collaborate with the finance team on strategic business initiatives and projects
Prepare audit schedules and support year-end audit activities to ensure compliance and efficiency
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting
Familiarity with NetSuite and general ledger functions
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis
Previous experience in accounting within a multi-unit domestic or international organization
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Preferred
Certification such as CPA or a willingness to pursue certification is preferred
Experience with private equity, public accounting, or foreign currency transactions is a plus
