New Grad, Entry LevelBrown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking candidates for the Equipment Room Specialist position. This part-time position will provide care, laundering and accurate inventory for all athletic equipment and uniforms, while servicing the needs of varsity student-athletes.

Responsibilities
Provide care, laundering and accurate inventory for all athletic equipment and uniforms during off-peak hours
Service and satisfy the athletic equipment and apparel needs of varsity student-athletes
Assist with Equipment Room operations and issuing and maintaining all athletic equipment
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Effective written & oral communication skills
Hand coordination to repair equipment
Experience with inventory control
Computer knowledge helpful
Valid driver's license with experience driving a cargo van
Must be able to work flexible hours, including some travel
Knowledge and understanding of, and commitment to compliance with, NCAA, ECAC, Ivy and University rules and regulations in regard to operations
Successful completion of a criminal background and DMV checks satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment
Demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations
Perform duties in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League rules and regulations
Report any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division to the compliance office and appropriate parties
Receive annual rules education on NCAA legislation related to recruiting by the compliance office
Maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification
Preferred
