Disneyland Quality Engineering Intern, Fall 2026

Responsibilities

Assist WSA Quality Engineers on special projects related to predicted safety in registered and non-registered attractions and entertainment offerings
Lead meetings on sub-topics in support of project goals
Perform field work in attractions for project research
Review and assess alignment of key documentation used by Maintenance, Engineering, QA, and Operations
Assist in the development of compliance-related processes and procedures

Required

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor, focused, articulate and well organized
Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor or Master's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering majors
GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines (for DX)
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Preferred

Prior related work experience is desired, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on Analytics, Safety, and/or Safety Auditing
Prior related or experience working with Data Science
Demonstrated/proven strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with demonstrated proven initiative - able to balance multiple tasks and priorities
Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
