Activities Aide

UMC - Abundant Life for Seniors is seeking a Community Life Assistant/Activities Aide for their Pitman Manor Community. The role involves scheduling and conducting activities for residents, assisting with outings, and maintaining attendance records.

Responsibilities

Participates in the scheduling of activities and programs within the community, communicates those with residents, encourages participation and participates in assigned programming
Conducts assigned programs including 1 to 1 visit
Assists with field trips and outings
Transports residents to and from planned activities within or external to community
Maintains resident's attendance. Assists with documentation- daily attendance records and 1 to 1 record
Meets with outside local community groups to plan joint projects which benefit community residents as instructed
Assures supplies are available for various activities/programs
Gives input to residents care planning- assessments, care plan goals and approaches and progress notes

Qualification

Relevant work experienceHigh School DiplomaGEDCommunication skillsTeamworkOrganizational skills

Required

High School Diploma or GED
1 or more year of relevant work experience
