Responsibilities
Design, configure, and manage MobileConnect within Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement
Build and maintain triggered and journey-based SMS campaigns, including transactional and promotional use cases
Develop data-driven messaging solutions using contacts, master subscribers, and sendable data extensions
Implement dynamic SMS content using AMPscript and personalization logic
Support multi-brand and multi-business-unit architectures, ensuring proper data segmentation and governance
Partner with marketing and compliance teams to ensure opt-in/opt-out, subscription, and consent management meet regulatory standards (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, etc.)
Troubleshoot and optimize SMS delivery, performance, and subscriber experience
Contribute to best practices, documentation, and scalable SMS frameworks
Qualification
Required
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (MobileConnect focus)
Subscriber data modeling and architecture
Triggered SMS sends and event-driven messaging
Journey Builder with SMS activities
AMPscript for personalization and dynamic messaging
Understanding of contact keys, subscriber keys, and data relationships
Preferred
Preference center configuration and management
Two-way SMS and person-to-person messaging
Advanced subscription management strategies
Experience with complex consent models across multiple brands or regions
