Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care to all age groups using comprehensive nursing processes: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborate with ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care and comfort
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional accountability consistent with nursing standards and facility policies
Use clinical judgment to evaluate care effectiveness and adapt interventions in a dynamic emergency department setting
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Preferred
Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
Minimum 1 year experience in a Level 1 Emergency Department or 2 years in a Level 2 trauma facility
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), TNCC, and NIHSS (required before start)
Demonstrated trauma and pediatric emergency experience
Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment (200+ patients/day)
