New Grad, Entry LevelVote USA is collaborating with WeVote, a nonpartisan nonprofit startup focused on increasing voter turnout. They are seeking a .NET Software Developer to implement enhancements, fix bugs, and maintain shape files for customized ballots, all while supporting their mission of strengthening American democracy.

Responsibilities
Implement new enhancements
Fix occasional bugs
Add, update, and maintain shape files which are used to construct each voter’s customized ballots based on their postal address
Respond to AWS server maintenance requirements, like system software sunsets, i.e. the MySQL version we were using
Coordinate with WeVote’s engineers to enable Vote USA’s data to be integrated into WeVote’s platform
Participate in weekly Zoom meetings
Qualification
Required
Experience with C#
Experience with JavaScript
Experience with jQuery
Experience with .Net
Experience with CSS/HTML
10+ hours per week during core team hours M-F 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. (in your own time zone)
Willingness to work with and support other volunteers
