Regional Promoter
Music Farm is a four-piece alt-rock band based in Boston, and they are seeking a Music Industry student to serve as their Regional Promoter for spring/summer 2026. The role involves booking shows, coordinating promotions, and keeping the band informed about market opportunities in NYC.

Responsibilities
Booking: Research and contact venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Jersey City & Hoboken, pitch Music Farm for shows, and negotiate terms (we have proven automation systems you'll use)
Promotion: Coordinate local promotion for booked shows (social media, local press, building relationships with other bands and promoters)
Coordination: Keep the band informed on market opportunities, local scene dynamics, and show logistics
Qualification
Required
Music Industry student
Ability to research and contact venues
Skills in pitching and negotiating terms
Experience with local promotion (social media, local press)
Ability to build relationships with other bands and promoters
Ability to keep the band informed on market opportunities and local scene dynamics
Ability to manage show logistics
Availability for ~5 hours/week from February to August 2026
Benefits
Commission: 10% of gross revenue from shows you book
Attendance Bonus: $50 for any show exceeding 40 paid attendees
Territorial Exclusivity: NYC is yours—the rest of the team won't book in your market
