Responsibilities

Consistent delivery of a positive customer experience as evident through customer request for your specific service and top scores on customer surveys
Prioritizes work schedule effectively
Communicates openly with customers in an effective, positive manner
Assist project managers from inception to installation and customer acceptance
Maintain cost and schedule tracking of projects against quoted price and delivery
Develop and maintain project milestones, parts lists and ordering, and electrical schematics
Provide communication to customers, panel shop employees, the account manager, and other team members
Lead and/or support start-up of systems in the shop and at the customer site
Perform programming and development of PLC, temperature controls systems, drive systems, and HMI systems
Act as a leader in an area of technology used by the company
Capable of leading the training classes offered to customers of company in their area of expertise
Willingness to assist company associates
Accountable to committed tasks
Contribute to a positive P&L statement
Participate in after-hours and be on-call 2-3 weeks per year
Other duties as assigned

Required

Two-year Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in automation or motion control
Minimum of 10 years related experience
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components
Strong Communication skills (listening, questioning, speaking)
Time Management skills
Experience working with customers and vendors
Computing/Software Skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and electrical design software
Exposure to Rockwell Automation PLCs (ControlLogix, SLC, PLC5, CompactLogix)
Exposure to Siemens Automation PLCs (S7)
Exposure to SSD Drive Systems
Exposure to Rockwell Powerflex Drive Systems
Exposure to SCADA/HMI Applications (Wonderware, Ignition, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Red Lion Crimson)
Exposure to Eurotherm and RKC Controllers
Exposure to CAD Development Software (AutoCAD/ePlan)
System troubleshooting and problem solving
Knowledge of Industry Standards (NEC, NFPA 79, NFPA 70, UL, ANSI)
Code development and interface with automation equipment
Project Management skills
PLC Programming/Design skills
HMI Programming/Design skills
Temperature Controls skills
Code Development/Programming from scratch
