Responsibilities
Perform high-quality imaging procedures in modalities including MRI, CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound (vascular and AB/OB), Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine
Administer contrast injections as needed for CT and MRI exams
Rotate through various units including radiology, operating room, and off-site locations
Participate in MRI call rotations during weekends and holidays, typically from 8 AM to 12 PM
Adhere to facility dress code requiring scrubs (any color), closed non-skid shoes, minimal jewelry, and appropriate grooming for mask use
Utilize documentation systems such as Epic for recording patient information and imaging results
Collaborate with a team utilizing advanced imaging equipment, including GE Optima MRI, multiple CT units, and Phillips and Toshiba X-ray machines
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years MRI experience
Preferred
1-2 years of clinical experience in relevant imaging modalities
Appropriate certifications according to modality; e.g., ARRT for radiology and vascular certification for ultrasound preferred
Ability and willingness to float among departments and perform fluoroscopy and surgical imaging as required
Comfortable working on-call and fulfilling holiday schedule requirements
Prepared to handle multiple procedures scheduled closely together, maintaining workflow efficiency
Commitment to follow all facility policies regarding dress, conduct, and patient care
