Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications according to physician orders
Conduct daily and weekly quality control dose testing
Process and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
Provide diagnostic images, data analysis, and patient information for interpretation
Evaluate image quality and calibration of equipment
Perform nuclear medicine and treadmill stress tests under cardiologist supervision
Maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms and work areas after each patient
Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) efficiently
Operate specialized equipment such as GEHC NM Infinia and NEMIS/Xeleris 5.0
Qualification
Required
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N)
Minimum of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience
Minimum of three years recent hospital-based Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
Certified ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT Registered
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (no RQI)
Proficiency with GEHC NM Infinia and NEMIS/Xeleris systems
Experience performing Stress Echo and treadmill tests in collaboration with a cardiologist or ACLS RN
