Responsibilities

Leads multiple teams, and manages activates, processes and large scale projects for a large organization
Ensures timely and accurate completion of general ledger preparation, project and /or government accounting activities to maintain proper functioning of the unit
Ensures accurate and timely consolidations, closing of financial statements and compliance activities are performed
Determines policies, procedures, and controls are in place to protect company assets
Directs and reviews the preparation and presentation of management reports and / or corporate reporting requirements, to ensure integrity of information and keep management updated on key information
Guides the team on a wide variety of complex accounting and business issues to help resolve the issues
Develops standards and make strategic decisions based on the knowledge of accounting concepts, wide-ranging experience, superior analytical skills, and knowledge of industry

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration / commerce (in finance)
8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a corporate environment
8+ years applying U.S. GAAP in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
6+ years hands‑on experience interpreting and applying U.S. GAAP standards to complex transactions
5+ years' experience designing, executing, and testing SOX controls and internal control frameworks
5+ years' experience leading teams and/or managing cross‑functional projects
8+ years' experience using Excel at an advanced level (pivot tables, complex formulas, macros)

Preferred

Master's Degree in accounting / Finance
Certified CPA or CMA is strongly preferred
3+ years' experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or Oracle JDE
Demonstrated success communicating with senior leaders, collaborating across functions, and presenting financial information clearly
