Responsibilities
Adhere to company policies, procedures
Maintain the highest standards for quality workmanship, Safety and Housekeeping
Responsible for the product test instruction, processes including signoff and train personnel
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process and quality system resulted from test troubleshooting
Design and fabricate electrical/electronic test equipment and test fixtures
Program and debug In-Circuit Tester/s and Functional Testers for maximum throughput and test compliance
Manage Test department, including personnel priority according to production schedule
Develop methods for gathering and evaluating Production and Quality data from test results, including KPIs and utilize such data as part of a quality system and for process enhancement
Provide technical support to customers including, but not limited to, matters relating to product
Responsible for customer project technical review and filing documentation as needed, including software support
Maintain component AVLs per customer Assist with location of component sources (e.g. vendors and manufacturers), locate alternate sources, and find components substitutions
Work with purchasing, design and manufacturers/suppliers to utilize the component sourcing effectively
Member of implementation team for New Product Introduction (NPI)
Qualification
Required
BS/BA degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Must have minimum 7 years' experience in Test Engineering and Test Development
Must have experience of reading and understanding electronic schematic and diagram
Must have experience of hand solder and replace electronic components
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
