Responsibilities
Function as the lead design engineer for utility-scale PV Solar projects
Lead the development of electrical design packages for utility-scale BESS projects (20MW and larger)
Qualification
Required
Professional Engineering (PE) license
Minimum 6 years of utility-scale PV Solar and BESS experience
Intermediate-to-Expert-level knowledge/experience with Medium- and Low-voltage switchgear, panel boards, breakers, relays, inverters, UPS systems, battery systems, DC combiner boxes, batter chargers, disconnect switches, and Medium- and Low-voltage cable
Intermediate-to-Expert-level knowledge/experience with Cable sizing, ampacity studies, arc flash analyses, short circuit analyses, reactive capability analyses, and voltage drop calculations
Comfortable in either SKM or ETAP
Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering
Must be a self-starter, team player, and excellent communicator
