Responsibilities
Enter and maintain production data, labor hours, and job tracking information in company systems
Create, distribute, and close out production travelers, work orders, and job packets
Track material usage, scrap, rework, and production output
Support inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts and material tracking
Prepare reports related to production, efficiency, and scheduling
Communicate production status updates to supervisors and management
File, organize, and maintain manufacturing and quality documentation
Assist with scheduling, shift reports, and daily production logs
Support shipping and receiving documentation as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to read work orders, safety instructions, and basic technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods (8+ hours)
Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. independently
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and manual handling of materials required
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to tolerate noise, heat, and dust in a manufacturing environment
Visual acuity to read measuring tools, drawings, and detect quality defects
Must pass initial and ongoing physical or occupational health screenings (e.g., lifting assessment, vision test, hearing test, etc.)
Must be able to wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
Preferred
1–3 years of clerical or administrative experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
