Responsibilities
Receive and process all accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, receivers/pack slips, and vendor information
Match invoices with proper purchase orders and receivers/packing slips; ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices and shipments
Detect problems with incorrect invoices, purchase orders, and receivers contact branch or purchasing to resolve
Contact branch personnel and vendors to correct or obtain information needed
Input approved invoices into automated accounting system using computer
Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors
Flexibility is required to adapt to changing work priorities, meeting deadlines and schedules, working independently and with interruptions, and complying with various requirements
Maintain regular, consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures
Qualification
Required
1 year experience in similar capacity
Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Ability to use personal computer
Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision
Must be organized and have good time management skills
Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits
Must pass drug screen and background check
