Venkatesh Investments is a newly established company in its development phase, seeking a Vice President of Global Sales to lead the transition from product establishment to global commercialization. The role involves building a sales system from scratch, defining sales strategies, and driving early growth in a rapidly evolving market environment.

Responsibilities

Translate the company's overall strategy into a clear global sales path
Define target customers, core value propositions, and differentiated selling points
Develop phased and regional sales strategies
Before formal large-scale sales, build a directly executable sales system
Design and implement: Sales processes, Customer segmentation and follow-up mechanisms, Pricing and contract frameworks
Ensure the system is not just "well-documented," but "able to close deals from the start."
Design the global sales organizational structure and regional divisions
Define the responsibilities of headquarters and regional teams
Recruit, train, and manage core sales management personnel
Establish an early sales culture and performance standards
Lead the closing of key early customers and strategic accounts
Quickly adjust strategies and tactics during the actual sales process
Ensure sales pace matches product and delivery capabilities
Prevent "sales promises from exceeding the company's actual capabilities."
Define the most critical sales metrics for the company's early stages
Establish a predictable sales funnel and forecasting mechanism
Provide management with real, actionable growth data
Drive adjustments through data, rather than relying on personal intuition

Required

20+ years of global sales or commercialization management experience
At least one experience leading or deeply involved in building a global sales operation from scratch
Able to clearly explain why certain markets must be tested first
Able to clearly explain why the sales system needs to be built before scaling up
Able to make critical judgments with incomplete information and clear time constraints
Able to work alongside the founding team, not just be responsible for the results
