Corporate Paralegal

The Corporate Paralegal will support a wide range of legal construction matters, working closely with business stakeholders and the legal team to ensure compliance and manage documentation related to construction projects.

Responsibilities
Review, draft, and/or organize construction-related agreements, including design-build contracts, change orders, and lien waivers for data center developments
Track permitting, zoning, and regulatory requirements for data center sites across U.S. and international jurisdictions
Assist in managing project-specific legal documentation
Conduct legal research on construction law, building codes, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations specific to mission-critical infrastructure
Prepare and file mechanic’s lien releases and other responses; assist in monitoring deadlines for lien rights
Partner with QTS real estate, sales, and finance teams to ensure legal documents align with technical and operational project goals
Provide support in construction-related disputes and claims, including documentation, timeline analysis, and document preparation
Maintain and manage the contract repository, ensuring all agreements are accurately recorded and easily accessible
Monitor and report on key construction timelines and legal milestones
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or equivalent professional experience
Three or more years of professional experience as paralegal or in legal related field - preferably in an in house corporate setting
Hands-on, self-starter who is disciplined and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting that requires a highly accurate and timely work product
Excellent listening, written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn ERP systems
Excels in a team-oriented work environment
Strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), OneDrive, Sharepoint and DocuSign
Excellent analytical and time-management skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Possess ambition and an optimistic attitude
Preferred
Entity management experience is a plus
