Responsibilities
Structuring, negotiating, and drafting commercial business transactions for clients in the entertainment industry, including celebrity endorsement agreements, brand licensing agreements, festival and event sponsorship agreements, live music performance agreements, and influencer agreements
Advising fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands on collaborations, cultural moments, and evolving industry norms
Supporting clients on deal strategy, risk assessment, and contract interpretation throughout the lifecycle of a transaction
Managing multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
Interfacing directly with clients, agents, managers, and business affairs executives
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active TN Attorney Bar license (or pending admission)
1–4 years of experience in entertainment law, media law, or commercial transactional practice
Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating entertainment or commercial agreements
Familiarity with talent representation, brand partnerships, sponsorships, or live events
Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to think strategically and commercially
Interest in and understanding of the entertainment, fashion, beauty, music, and live events industries
Preferred
In-house or law firm experience
Familiarity with firm operations and billing
