Overseeing essential court support functions including jury selection, court reporting, and interpreting services
Managing the statewide jury process
Ensuring accurate recording and transcription of proceedings
Coordinating foreign language interpretation across all First Circuit courts
Planning, directing, and evaluating branch operations
Developing and implementing policies and procedures
Managing budgets, contracts, and staff
Collaborating with internal and external partners to maintain efficient, compliant operations
Representing the Branch on committees
Supporting legislative and administrative initiatives
Ensuring high-quality service delivery through effective leadership and resource management

Required

Graduation from an accredited (4) year college or university with a bachelor's degree
Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional, administrative, technical work experience in one or a combination of the following areas: In a court or legal setting, responsibility for supervising or overseeing the operational activities of a unit or section whose primary function is the preparation and/or processing of legal documents
Independently performing professional work involving written analysis, evaluation and recommendations for problem resolution in a court or legal setting, or those social work or administrative programs of the courts
Six (6) months of experience in one of the following areas: Staff Specialist Experience or Supervisory Experience
Administrative aptitude rather than actual administrative experience is accepted
A Master's degree in business, public administration or criminal justice administration or a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) year of Specialized Experience
Graduation from an accredited school of law may be substituted for one (1) year of Specialized Experience
