Vice President, Hotel Operations

Responsibilities
Gain a deep understanding of the expected AMAN experience and translate that experience into an onboard environment
Develop and maintain departmental operating manuals, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Develop job descriptions for all Hotel Department shipboard roles and ensures deep involvement with AMAN… also ensures ILO and labor compliance while determining schedules and rotations
Support the execution of operational initiatives, product enhancements, and service improvement programs
Create departmental budgets for newbuild, first fit, and operations
Provide data analysis and research to support financial planning, budgeting, and performance reviews
Develop dashboards, metrics, and key performance indicators to track operational outcomes
Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform business planning and operational improvements
Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials
Maintain department documentation, including agendas, action logs, and electronic filing systems
Closely support and work with procurement for product specification and logistics needs
Closely support and work with the IT leadership for onboard and corporate systems
Closely support and work with commercial leadership
Determine the most suitable structure for the hotel team, together with AMAN and the technical services provider
Establish process for and ensure that all hotel crew are adequately trained
Works closely with our Technical Services and Crewing Agent for all shipboard needs and functions
Closely collaborates with the Marine leadership to determine and document all safety protocols and procedures relevant to the hotel department
Acts as lead for USPHS, ADA, NLV, HACCP and all other critical procedures related to the hotel department
Collaborate cross-functionally with external partners to ensure seamless coordination of initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related experience
Minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in luxury cruise/hospitality
Proficient in all corporate and shipboard technology required to manage the department
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
Preferred
Prior food and beverage experience preferred
Proven experience in designing and delivering training and development programs for multicultural and multinational teams
Prior experience supporting multiple brand(s) or ownership groups preferred
