Responsibilities
Guide efforts to design and use light responsive tools that better define the spatiotemporal components of signaling in cardiovascular adaptation and disease
Contribute to collaborative translational research projects
Focus on optogenetic tool building and protein design or cardiovascular pharmacology and models of ischemic injury and hypertrophy
Qualification
Required
PhD (chemical biology, molecular biology, physiology, pharmacology, or biochemistry), or related field
Knowledge of protein design and adenoviral delivery systems
Preferred
Cardiovascular research experience a plus, but not required
