They are seeking a motivated and talented Structural Engineer 1-Marine to contribute to the design, planning, and cost estimation of waterfront and marine infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review design specifications, construction plans, and cost estimates for marine structures and waterfront projects
Develop technical reports and feasibility studies for shoreline access systems and site developments
Utilize engineering software, including AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and L-Pile, for analysis and design
Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure structural integrity and regulatory compliance
Conduct site assessments and assist in evaluating environmental and structural challenges related to marine infrastructure
Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and best practices in marine engineering projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
Background in steel design, concrete design, and fluid mechanics
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and project management abilities

Preferred

EIT preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and/or L-Pile
