Responsibilities

This position plays a key role within the Division of Statewide Services, offering essential administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Criminal Justice Information Services and Information Technology units
Reporting to the Administrative Assistant-3, the incumbent will assist with various functions, including human resources, payroll, travel, inventory management, and procurement

Required

Must meet Alaska Residency Requirements in order to be considered for employment
Extensive knowledge of administrative functions essential for supporting business operations, including personnel management, purchasing and inventory control, accounts payable/receivable, and financial monitoring
Proficient in utilizing computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to efficiently complete tasks
Strong ability to communicate complex information regarding policies, procedures, and regulations to the public, both in person, over the phone, and in writing
Skilled in effective time management to meet deadlines, optimize productivity, and manage unexpected tasks while maintaining quality
Conscientious about attending to detail and performing work thoroughly
Six months of entry-level technical experience in one or more administrative functional areas such as human resources, accounting, administration, and procurement
One year of advanced-level clerical experience
One year of post-secondary education from an accredited college (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours equals 1 year)
One year of any combination of post-secondary education, vocational education, and/or advanced-level clerical experience
