Production Coordinator II

Tyonek Native Corp is seeking a Production Coordinator II to create schedules based on shop load and lead times. The role involves reviewing production routers, coordinating with program managers, and monitoring the execution of production plans to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

Review routers prior to release
Review BOMs as needed to help ensure accuracy
Prints and distributes manufacturing data packages for assigned projects on scheduled plan release dates
Attends material review board meetings and help determine root cause and help determine method for correcting nonconformance
Coordinate with Program Managers and Manufacturing Engineers in implementing engineering changes
Monitor the execution of the production plan and escalate potential issues in a timely manner
Create and print vendor consignment notice and coordinates outside processing
Work closely and maintain professional relationships with all members of the manufacturing team
Expedite material from building to building "as required" to assist with production flow
Helps develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality
Maintain schedules and priorities of assigned projects to ensure on-time delivery
Helps interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
Assist Planning department with day to day operations
Other Duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for degree
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. Cost Point 7 experience is a plus
Requires a minimum of six (6) years of production experience
Must be able to review and understand production routers/BOMS prior to release
Must have experience in creating and working with Bills of Material and government drawings
Ability to communicate well with co-workers and management
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include excel, word, and outlook
General Computer Skills required
Able to multi-task; to include forecasting and effectively communication with a wide-variety of work disciplines to provide up-to-date technical information on queries associated with assigned projects
We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing
Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs
On occasion must be able to lift 25 pounds
Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders
Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions
