T-7 Mission Systems Hardware Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

Ensures the team delivers safe and high-quality products within cost and schedule
Provides technical, programmatic, and process leadership to team members
Leads, develops, and mentors employees
Monitors team and supplier performance to ensure proper system integration and requirements compliance
Coordinates with program management, suppliers, customers, and other Boeing teams
Supports Best Practices (e.g. Model Based Design, Peer Reviews, Technical Lead Engineers, etc.)

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3+ years of experience in electrical/electronic hardware design
3+ years of experience with developing or integrating and verifying avionics or mission systems
3+ years of experience leading or managing teams and/or projects
Ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
This position is expected to be 100% onsite
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Preferred

Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
Experience leading the design, development, integration, and test of Displays, Navigation, Communication or Computing equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with technical oversight of Suppliers
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Model Based System Engineering
