Sales & Operations Lead
Embarc is an emerging cannabis retailer passionate about community, customers, and people. The Sales and Operations Lead supports all Customer Experience and Sales Initiatives while also overseeing store operations and inventory management, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills to drive sales and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Leads the front of house store team to create an exceptional experience for customers and employees, and to exceed sales goals
Engage with customers on the sales floor, answering questions and recommending products
Champion brand education and product knowledge training
Drives selling behaviors to ensure sales metrics and employee performance achieve results
Build customer retention using company loyalty programs
Communicate and execute sales and marketing initiatives
Execute visual merchandising to uphold company standards
Participate in community engagement, field marketing, and events
Partner with management to monitor and respond to customer reviews across all platforms
Supervise daily store operations to ensure efficiency and compliance
Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and merchandising
Support the implementation of company policies, legal regulations, and operational improvements
Rectify facilities issues to ensure an excellent customer experience
Able to safely lift and carry up to 35 lbs
Train and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and accountability
Act as a key point of contact between store management and staff
Build a culture that aligns with the core values of the organization
Utilize critical problem-solving skills to recommend improvements and escalate issues appropriately to management
Be a champion of change
Assist with all aspects of inventory management: intake, counts, pricing, transfers, recalls, stocking, and compliance
Assist with maintaining accurate counts and records in METRC and POS systems
To ensure accuracy, assist with recurring audits, spot checks, and cycle counts
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations

Experience with Treez POS system
Leadership or supervisory experience in retail
Experience with computerized inventory and compliance systems
