Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical and electrical equipment, including boilers, emergency generators, HVAC systems, and related components, ensuring efficient, high-quality completion
Conduct periodic tests on equipment, meticulously adhering to all relevant codes and requirements
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operational readiness
Execute routine repairs and preventative maintenance to guarantee the uninterrupted operation of all critical equipment
Maintain all tools and equipment in safe operating condition and ensure equipment rooms are consistently organized and clean
Coordinate effectively with administration and other trades to complete projects and work orders
Perform diverse building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, and plumbing
Assist with outdoor areas and grounds maintenance as needed
Assemble and install furniture; perform locksmith tasks as required
Complete and maintain precise records, logs, and paperwork for all assigned equipment, repairs, orders, and materials used. File all documentation promptly
Test and evaluate equipment prior to service, log results, tag devices for tracking, and ensure proper installation/delivery
Order and receive necessary parts and materials, maintaining correct stock levels to support ongoing maintenance and repairs
Undertake other assigned tasks as required
Qualification
Required
Requires three years of recent, progressively responsible maintenance-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities
Preferred
Current electrical, plumbing, or boiler licensure is preferred
If assigned to Property Maintenance; requires current driver's license valid in the state of Washington
