Assistant Vice President for Campaign Operations - Siena University
Siena College is a Franciscan and Catholic institution seeking an Assistant Vice President for Campaign Operations to enhance their fundraising efforts. Responsibilities
Strategic oversight and coordination of the functions of Development Operations, including Research, Stewardship and Development data services
Expand the capacity of stewardship programs to deepen the engagement of donors in support of the University. Manage a priority stewardship program for top prospects and leadership donors; oversee stewardship program for St. Francis Society and President's Circle program
Manage the Development office's campaign reporting and analysis needs, including developing campaign reports, budgets, processes and analysis that will provide consistent and concise campaign data for constituents, including the Board of Trustees and President of the University
Research and implement applicable fundraising campaign software tools and/or database enhancements as necessary to support a comprehensive campaign. Collaborate to support the process and integration of a new CRM
In partnership with the Finance Office, create a structure and plan for internal stewardship of funds allocated to programs managed by faculty and administrators
Strengthen the focus and capacity of the donor research program to provide analysis and data to support campaign outreach, solicitations and strategies. Provide oversight and strategic guidance on building a Prospect Management system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 10 years experience with progressive responsibilities in leadership and management of teams in Development data management, stewardship programs and constituent research programs
Leadership experience in large-scale fundraising campaigns, including strategic planning and major gift cycles, and strategic leadership of the Operations function within higher education or other non-profit organizations
Experience working with fundraising technologies and data analytics
Experience in oversight of policies and procedures related to campaign gift receipt and acknowledgement processes and data management in a campaign
Strong project management skills, data analytics, leadership, and deep knowledge of campaign best practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing budgets and allocating resources to core functions of the Development team during a multi-year comprehensive campaign
Proven ability to analyze current systems and make enhancements to increase efficiencies
Candidates should be detail-oriented and possess strong professional judgement in donor relations
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment
Preferred
Masters degree preferred
Extensive experience with Banner/Ellucian database or similar fundraising CRM software products preferred
